ANNUAL SWIM FROM THE HEART
Haifa Bay, Israel: Hundreds of swimmers dive into the Mediterranean waters to participate in Swim from the Heart – a swim-a-thon to raise funds to support life-saving research by Rambam scientists on Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD), a syndrome affecting countless children and young adults worldwide. If you love open-water swimming, or simply want to support our efforts to end the devastating impact of SCD, consider taking part in the next Swim from the Heart. 2023 Date to be determined.

CELEBRATE WITH A CAUSE
Add special meaning and a trove of satisfaction to your Bar or Bat-Mitzvah, birthday, anniversary, or other special event. We make it easy to raise funds for Rambam for a project of your choice. Sponsor a children’s program like Rambam’s Adopt-a-Clown or purchase a hospital bed in the Ruth Children’s Hospital or the Sammy Ofer Fortified Underground Emergency Hospital – these are just a few of the ways you can express your support for the safety and vitality of the people of Northern Israel.

General Bequest:
By a stating a specific dollar amount, you know exactly how much money will go to Rambam:
“I give, devise, and bequeath to American Friends of Rambam at 442 Fifth Ave. #1353, New York, NY 10018, the sum of $________, for its general purposes.”
Percentage Bequest:
When you designate a percentage of your estate to charity, your bequest changes as the value of your assets change.
“I give, devise, and bequeath _______% of my estate to American Friends of Rambam at 442 Fifth Ave. #1353, New York, NY 10018, for its general purposes.”
Residuary Bequest:
When you intend to leave the remainder of your estate after other distributions under the will have been satisfied:
“All the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, I give, devise, and bequeath to American Friends of Rambam at 442 Fifth Ave. #1353, New York, NY 10018, for its general purposes.”
Contingent Bequest:
Allows you to leave a portion of your estate to a particular charity if your named beneficiary does not survive you.
“In the event any of my above-named beneficiaries have not survived me, I hereby direct their share to be distributed to American Friends of Rambam at 442 Fifth Ave. #1353, New York, NY 10018, for its general purposes.”
