Honoring Life

The Universal Gift of Life

A Microcosm of Israel’s Diversity

Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Druze and Bahai, Circassian and Bedouin, urban and rural, kibbutz and moshav,  each community a thread in the rich and intricate tapestry making up Northern Israel.

Rambam’s patients and its staff reflect the region’s population in all its diversity.  At Rambam, ethnic and cultural differences are honored and respected, and every individual, regardless of their background, is united in the universal mission of healing.

With the shared language of compassion, we are building bridges to healing in the Middle East.

Humanitarian Efforts Across Israel’s Borders

From remote clinics in Uganda to earthquake-stricken communities in Turkey and many other sites around the globe, Rambam’s medical teams extend their expert care to those in need, and give vital expression to the value of “Tikkun Olam”.

Since the outbreak of the Syrian Civil War, Rambam has treated some 140 Syrian civilians caught in the crossfire.  Additionally, Palestinian children who cannot receive adequate care in their communities are brought to Rambam where they receive expert treatment and a warm welcome.

Day by day, in gestures small and large, Rambam is a driving force promoting healing and humanitarian values in the turbulent Middle East and beyond.
