Dear Friend of Rambam, 
Since the 2006 Second Lebanon War, Rambam Health Care Campus has been engaged in the largest hospital development project of its kind in Israel—expansion and renovation of our West Campus.
This project is integral to keeping our patients and staff safe in the event of war and to offering the best possible medical care to Northern Israel’s growing population, including the pursuit of clinical research and innovation to create the future of medicine.
Your encouragement and support over the past decade have helped us achieve the impossible. Only one lap remains to finish the race and achieve our goal. To date, we have raised $300 million for major development projects. As a result, we have completed the above ground fortified Department of Emergency Medicine, the Sammy Ofer Fortified Underground Emergency Hospital, the Ruth Rappaport Children’s Hospital, and the Joseph Fishman Oncology Center.
The shell of our new Eyal Ofer Heart Hospital has been built but funds are still needed to complete construction of the interior departments. The current outdated facilities are impeding expansion of our innovative therapies provided by our world-renowned cardiac teams. The Helmsley Health Discovery Tower—which will be central to the future of medicine and strongly contribute to the prestige and economy of our region—has been jump-started with a groundbreaking ceremony.
I am asking you to join us on this last lap by making a contribution to our new five-year $100 million dollar campaign—targeted at completing this essential health care project for the people of Israel. Now is the time to forge ahead, finish the race, and make our joint vision a full reality.
