Rambam Strengthens Ties with The Jewish Agency
Representatives from Rambam Health Care Campus’s administration met with The Jewish Agency’s Chairman in Jerusalem to discuss cooperation.
In recent years, Rambam Health Care Campus, the largest hospital in Northern Israel, has become a place of interest in various parts of the world. Due to Rambam’s representation by various Friends Associations throughout the world and its connections with leading overseas medical and research institutions and initiatives, the hospital receives support from many Jewish communities on different continents.
Against this background, Dr. Michael Halberthal, Rambam’s Director General, and Dr. Esty Golan, Managing Director of International Relations and Chief of Strategic Development, traveled to Jerusalem to meet with Isaac Herzog, Chairman of the Jewish Agency. During the meeting, the three discussed strengthening Rambam-Jewish Agency relations in order to promote joint projects around the world.
“In light of the warm, supportive attitude that Rambam encounters through its Friends Associations, The Jewish Agency and its representatives around the world are natural partners for significant initiatives,” explained sources at Rambam. “The Jewish Agency and the hospital have cooperated successfully in the past, and we expect that we will continue to have fruitful collaborations in the future.”
