On Sunday, March 31, in Los Angeles, Sinai Temple’s Rabbi David Wolpe and Rambam’s Prof. Rafi Beyar explored how Rambam is creating new paradigms for a safer and healthier world. The audience learned of Rambam’s impact on innovation, Israel’s national security, medical research and top medical care.

After an intriguing presentation and dialogue between Wolpe and Beyar, the audience asked a series of questions exploring Rambam’s role in advancing medicine regionally and globally. The event was graciously hosted by supporters Dr. Raphael and Jackie Nach and included an afternoon tea reception. The Nach’s were inspired by their 2018 visit to Rambam and especially the Underground Fortified Emergency Hospital. American Friends of Rambam is stronger because of the Nach’s leadership and their efforts to raise awareness and funds for the Eyal Ofer Heart Hospital.
