Rambam Summit 2026: An Unforgettable Experience
October 13-15: Friends of Rambam from around the world gathered in Haifa for the annual Rambam Summit.
We have just returned from our 2026 International Rambam Summit, and wow—what an incredible trip! Seeing Rambam’s work in action is always inspiring. There is something truly powerful about being on the ground, meeting the people behind the breakthroughs, and witnessing firsthand the extraordinary work taking place every day at Rambam Health Care Campus.
We wanted to share a few highlights from this year’s Summit and give you a glimpse into what made it so special.
A Few Summit Highlights:
- Exploring Israel’s North: We kicked off our trip with a vibrant tour of the region, including a visit to Shtula, a town on the Israel-Lebanon border. We also enjoyed wine tasting at a family-run winery and shared a delicious, home-cooked meal in a Druze village—wonderful opportunities to experience the region’s rich culture and resilience. This day reminded us of the people that we serve, and how they rely so heavily on the medical care being given at Rambam.
- The Medicine of Tomorrow Conference: Held at Rambam in collaboration with Ynet, the conference featured Rambam physician-scientists presenting innovative research and medical breakthroughs with the potential to transform healthcare around the world. It was a powerful reminder that Rambam is not only responding to today’s medical challenges but actively shaping the future of medicine. More information
- New Departments at Rambam: We toured the newly dedicated Leir Foundation Clinical Research Institute in the Helmsley Health Discovery Tower and visited the MATRIC (Applied Medical Technology Research Center), where we saw fascinating examples of 3D-printed bones and cutting-edge medical devices. Seeing the intersection of research, technology, and patient care up close was truly inspiring.
All in all, this year’s Summit reminded us, yet again, why we do what we do. Behind every research breakthrough, every life-saving innovation, and every patient cared for, often under extraordinarily challenging circumstances, are people who are deeply committed to making a difference.
