Call to Action
Dear Friend of Rambam,
Since the 2006 Second Lebanon War, Rambam Health Care Campus has been engaged in the largest hospital development project of its kind in Israel—expansion and renovation of our West Campus.
This project is integral to keeping our patients and staff safe in the event of war and to offering the best possible medical care to Northern Israel’s growing population, including pursuit of clinical research and innovation to create the future of medicine.
Your encouragement and support over the past decade has helped us achieve the impossible. Only one lap remains to finish the race and achieve our goal. To date, we have raised $300 million for major development projects. As a result, we have completed the above ground fortified Department of Emergency Medicine, the Sammy Ofer Fortified Underground Emergency Hospital, the Ruth Rappaport Children’s Hospital, and the first phase of the Joseph Fishman Oncology Center.
The shell of our new Cardiovascular Hospital is waiting for an “infusion” to convert it into a modern and safe facility for our heart patients. The current outdated facilities are impeding expansion of our innovative therapies provided by our world-renowned cardiac teams. The Health Discovery Tower—which will be central to the future of medicine and strongly contribute to the prestige and economy of our region and of Israel—has yet to be jump-started.
I am asking you to join us on this last lap by making a contribution to our new five-year $100 million dollar campaign—targeted at completing this essential health care project for the people of Israel. Now is the time to forge ahead, finish the race, and make our joint vision a full reality.
I have absolutely no doubt that together we will achieve these goals. I believe in you, what you will do to help us, and the people whom you will influence. Together we will change the world!
