On February 20, in Beverly Hills, California, Prof. David Tanne, Director of Rambam’s Stroke and Cognition Institute led an engaging presentation on The Brain: The Next Frontier in Health. The event and dessert reception hosted at the lovely home of Linda and Michael Sendowski, created a special opportunity to also extend gratitude to major donors Herta and Paul Amir.

Prof. Tanne explained to the audience that Rambam’s stroke center, the most robust in Israel, is housed within the new Herta and Paul Amir Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit. Thanks to the Amirs, a modern facility for excellent stroke treatment is now available 365 days a year.
